BOSWORTH TODD'S 50 YEARS IN THE INVESTMENT INDUSTRY
LOUISVILLE, Ky. - (Sept. 6, 2006) - Todd Investment Advisors, Inc. (Todd) is pleased to announce Bosworth Todd's 50th anniversary in the investment business. Bos is Chairman Emeritus of Todd Investment Advisors, Inc. He is a native of Frankfort and is a 1952 graduate of the University of Kentucky. After receiving his MBA from Harvard and serving two years in the Air Force, Bos entered the investment business in August 1956 as a security salesman at Hilliard Lyons. After two years, he joined Kentucky Trust Company as a trust investment officer. In 1967, he left the bank to start his own firm. Todd Investment Advisors will be celebrating its 39th anniversary in November.
“Throughout his career, Bos has been a highly revered professional in the investment management business and continues to be a great asset and valued partner in our firm,” said Curt Scott, President and CEO of Todd.
A prolific writer, Bos has recently written newsletters to his clients about the economic and market outlook, the social security time bomb, fuel cells, and nanotechnology.
He taught investments at the University of Louisville, holds a Chartered Financial Analyst designation, and is a past director of the Investment Counsel Association of America. He is currently a director of First Capital Bank of Kentucky in Louisville. His civic duties include serving as founding director of the St. Francis School, the Wellspring House, and the National Alliance for Research, Schizophrenia and Depression.
